Minor council executive met last night to discuss changes to the RTP document as requested by the Officers. The discussions resulted in a revised RTP document which was then submitted to the Officers this morning. The Officers will review the revised RTP document and they will decide on the next steps. Minor Council Executive Committee met Monday to discuss the U13/15 AAA and U18 Minor programs. Minor Council Executive Committee will be putting together a RTP proposal to be submitted in the next week to ten days. If it gets approved by the branch it will be sent to the CMO's office.

In a thrilling GOLD medal game that saw Michael Strap notch the only goal, the Thunder edged the St. John's Hitmen 1-0 to earn the right to represent Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador at the AAA Bantam Atlantics. The tournament was hosted by the Western Kings in Stephenville March 6-8, 2020. The exhibition weekends for the minor midget wrapped up this weekend with a very competitive weekend of hockey. The four teams have been very competitive this season and the Northern Huskies will get their opportunity to see how they stack up when they play host to the World's Finest Midget Minor Provincials from March 6-8, 2020 in Goose Bay. This event should showcase some exceptional minor midget hockey and provide an opportunity for Lake Melville Minor to showcase their association and town.
